Bihar Board released the results of the 12th Board. It was declared by the chairman of the board, Mr. Anand Kishor. The results were announced after 3 pm today and the exams held between the periods of February 6th to February 16th. More than 13 lakh students appeared for the exam which was held in around 1339 centers all over the state.

The idea of releasing the results earlier than ICSE, CBSE and other state Board was to give the candidates ample time to decide on the career path and the right college. If the students want to apply in some foreign university, the results are declared at the right time.

May students emerged as the topper of their fields. The topper for the commerce stream is Satyam Kumar who secured the highest percentage of 94.4%. The topper of Arts stream is Rohini Rani, and Manish Kumar, both of them achieved a percentage of 92. The topper of the science stream is not yet confirmed, but the overall pass percentage has been outstanding this. The total of 81% of students of science stream successfully cleared the exams whereas 76.5% of students passed in Arts and a surprising 93% of students passed from the commerce field.

As the result has just been declared there is heavy traffic on the website, making it difficult for the students to view their respective result. But don’t worry, just keep on trying to login to the official website. Before trying to reach any of the sites, make sure you have your board roll number and date of birth all ready with you.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR RESULTS?

In the tension and the anticipation of the result, most people stumble while trying to view their results. Don’t worry I understand the nervousness and therefore, I have written a proper procedure to follow to look to your result.

Please follow the steps for the glitch-free result viewing:

  1. Go to the official website of the Bihar Board. If it is not reachable, you can just follow any of the two sites given above.
  2. Click on the link that says result and a different page will pop up.
  3. Select your stream
  4. Enter the roll number and the date of birth
  5. Click on submit, and your result will appear on the screen.

Make sure you download the copy of the result and take the print of it as soon as possible.

In case you are not satisfied with your results, you can apply for scrutiny between the periods of April 3rd to 12th April.
