A Ph.D. Medicine is a full-time doctoral degree in medicine that lasts 3 to 5 years. The program requires that you have a post-graduate degree in medicine or an MS/MD degree from a recognized university listed under UGC/AIU with a minimum aggregate of 55 percent and above. Candidates will gain an in-depth understanding of many areas of medicine while also refining their core research skills.

All applicants must pass the All India Entrance Examination as well as the Personal Interview round held by the different colleges, after which the admission procedure to the Ph.D. Medicine course will be advanced. Ph.D. Medicine: Eligibility

The following are the requirements for obtaining a Ph.D. Medicine:

  • Candidates must have obtained their MD/MS degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India with a minimum aggregate score of 50% or higher, or
  • Those who have received a Diploma from the National Board (DNB) in any of the relevant subjects are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who have completed a postgraduate degree in either M.Optometry or M.Sc. in Medical Degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physiology, Anatomy, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and so on from any recognized university in Physiology, Anatomy, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and so on can also apply for admission to the program.
