For the first term exams for classes 10 and 12, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) reaffirmed on Friday that all regional languages have been kept under the category of minor subjects. The CBSE issued the clarification in response to Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi's complaint about Punjabi being excluded from the main subjects. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given pupils the option of changing their board exam location for classes 10 and 12. Students will be assigned to their particular schools as exam centers for both practical and theory exams, according to the Board. “It has come to the attention of the Board that, as a result of the COVID pandemic, some students in classes 10 and 12 along with their families have relocated to another city/country and are thus unable to appear in practical exams/theory exams from the school/exam center from which the students are registered for the Boards,”
